Copyright takedown notices, counter-notices & repeat infringer policy
Our Copyright Policy
MEN4M (“we,” “the Site”) is a directory where massage therapists create and control their own profiles, photos, and written content. We do not review or endorse every upload in advance, and we respect the copyrights of the people who create original work. This page explains how copyright owners can ask us to remove material hosted on the Site and how users can respond if their content is removed by mistake. It is provided as a courtesy and does not constitute legal advice.
Submitting a Takedown Notice
If you own a copyright (or are authorized to act for the owner) and believe content on this Site uses it without permission, send a written notice to our Copyright Agent including each of the following:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- A description of the original work you believe was copied — a title, a link to where it is legitimately published, or a copy of the work itself all work.
- The exact URL(s) on this Site where the allegedly infringing material appears, so we can locate it quickly.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

Knowingly false notices: U.S. law allows damages, costs, and attorney’s fees against anyone who knowingly makes a false claim in a takedown notice or counter-notice. Please confirm you actually own the rights involved before submitting.
What Happens After We Receive a Notice
- We confirm the notice is complete. If key details are missing, we may ask you for clarification before acting.
- We remove or disable the material. For complete notices, this typically happens within a few business days.
- We notify the user who posted it, including the substance of the claim and how they can respond.
- If a valid counter-notice is filed, we may restore the material roughly ten business days later unless the claimant tells us they have gone to court to stop it, as described below.
If Your Content Was Removed — Counter-Notice
If your content was removed because of a takedown notice and you believe this was a mistake — for example, you own the rights, the work is licensed, or the claim misidentifies your material — you may send a counter-notice to the same email address including:
- The URL(s) of the material that was removed and your name and contact information.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of a U.S. federal court in your district (or, if you are outside the U.S., a court where we can be found), and your agreement to accept legal papers from the person who sent the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will forward your counter-notice to the person who filed the original complaint. If they do not notify us within about ten business days that they have filed a court action to keep the material down, we may restore it.
Repeat Infringers
Accounts that are the subject of repeated, valid copyright complaints will be suspended or terminated, and their content removed. We apply this policy using our own judgment based on the notices we receive, and we may terminate an account at any time for clear or repeated infringement without waiting for a specific number of complaints.
Questions
This process is only for copyright claims. For anything else — billing, accounts, profile help, or reporting other kinds of abuse — contact us via the support form. We may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always the one published on this page.
